Accessibility

Northrose Educational Resources strives to deliver our products and services in a way that respects the independence and dignity of people with disabilities. Should an alternate format be required by students with a disability who have purchased a textbook, we offer pdf eBooks. Our eBooks do meet the WCAG AA standards and are readable on assistive technologies like NVDA and JAWS. Please review the following to ensure your request is filled without delay:

  • The student must have a disability and be registered in a course where our educational material is in use.
  • The requested material must have been purchased by the student or for the student by the institution.
  • The Alternate Format request form must be completed by a school representative, such as the institution’s accessibility service centre, or a designated school staff person.
  • For college/university students, proof of purchase must be verified by the school for the printed textbook that the student has purchased from the bookstore or via online purchase.
